Mats Almgren will become MD of NEC Scandinavia on 31
October. Mats' most recent position has been sales and marketing
director at TDC Song AB. NEC's current MD, Patrik Hofbauer, will
stand down in September.
Mats' most recent role has been sales and marketing director at
TDC Song AB. Before that, he held a number of leading positions and
has solid experience of the telecom sector, including with
Telenordia and Preseco Info Systems.
"Mats' experience from sales within advanced services and
products, in combination with his knowledge of the telecom sector
will strengthen our offer. Mats will be a valuable contribution to
the Company," says Chris Shimizu, Corporate Communications Manager
for NEC Europe.
NEC recently took over the operations in Finland of the Japanese
trading house Marubeni. Furthermore, a number of new products
within telecom will be launched during the autumn.
