- From July 15 - 18, 2008, NEC Corporation will participate in the
Broad
band World Forum Asia 2008 (BWFA 2008), a premier industry event held
in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, which introduces
the latest broadband technologies, devices, applications, solutions
and services www.iec.org
NEC's exclusive exhibition booth at BWFA 2008 will feature
suchinnovative wireless broadband related products as Long Term
Evolution
(LTE),Mobile WiMAX and Femtocell. NEC's primary goals of the
exhibition include the introduction of the significant advantages of
LTE, which features high performance and compact size (approximate
45mm height), when compared to conventional base stations. Additional
objectives include the introduction of migration proposals from 2G/3G
systems.
Highlights of the NEC exhibition also include the Advanced TCA300/Micro
TCA, which has been adapted for universal architecture; the
MSAN System, a multi-service access device which combines a variety of
interfaces that span across G/GE-PON, Ether, Video and others; the
CX2200, which has fully opened IPs to mobile backhaul networks; and
IPTV that has paved the road for upcoming hit applications.
NEC aims to capitalize on BWFA 2008 in order to promote the
